Although absence management, stress and health
and well being are offered as independent services, ApP has also
developed
the Healthy Organisation Programme,
an integrated approach, which accelerates improvement while saving organisations
a great deal of valuable time and money.

help for both managers and employees and is based on the ApP

E LEARNING
ApP provides a range of conventional training programmes, but
as conventional training can be costly and difficult for remote
workers to attend, ApP has also developed a range of e learning
packages.
For individuals ApP has produced
“It Can Happen to Anyone” a comprehensive,
interactive package designed to help individuals take responsibility
for
their own health and well being, reduce personal stress and
improve personal effectiveness.
The package can be used as an organisation-wide training intervention
or as a management referral tool for employees requiring specific
help. It also provides an ideal teaching aid for schools colleges
and universities.
As it can be studied from the privacy of your own PC, it also

"The Healthy Organisation" suite of programmes.
These comprise:
- Performing under pressure – a programme specifically
designed to help employees understand and cope more effectively
with pressure at work.
- Managing the risk – a programme for H&S or
HR managers tasked with carrying out a stress risk assessment
- Managing pressure at work – To help managers understand
the concepts of pressure, stress, and mental ill health
in their employees and show them how to help employees
become happier,
healthier, and more productive.

EXPERIENCE ApP is up to date with latest research and theory in the field
of stress, health and absence management including the latest
legal issues and government initiatives. Click HERE to

Managing Director of ApP, Dr Anderson was chair of the International
Stress Management Association in 2003 and as such joined the
HSE expert panel developing the Stress Management Standards.
She has since helped the HSE with a range of their stress initiatives
including running a seminar at the launch of the Standards and
writing two information leaflets on their behalf. She was a keynote
speaker at the HSE conference “Making the Management
Standards Work” and was asked to be an external facilitator
on their Master classes. She is recognised by the HSE as an “expert” in
this field.

ApP has very high academic and ethical standards and adheres
to the British Psychological Society code of practice. All
training materials are written by Dr Anderson personally
and associate
consultants are either experienced psychologists, nurses
or HR professionals depending on requirements of the client
and
the
work involved.
